Time until the Book Fair

Grade two students get their third year of STEM with a better understanding of what the programs has to offer. The start the year out with team building activities, then dive more deeply into what each letter of STEM stands for. In second grade students work through 3 different units from the Engineering is Elementary program. The focuses are: Air, Weather, and Mechanical Engineering and designing windmills, Earth Materials and Materials Engineering and building walls, and Plants and Package Engineering and creating a package for an item.
