Time until the Book Fair

Grade one students get their second experience with STEM in a variety of different ways. The start the year out with team building activities, then dive more deeply into what each letter of STEM stands for. In first grade students work through 3 different units from the Engineering is Elementary program. The focuses are: Civil Engineering through designing bridges, Mechanical Engineering with designing Windmills, and Agricultural Engineering with designing hand pollinators.
